Tennyo

Tennyo, the angel of Buddha in Japanese mythology Tennyo refers to the heavenly or divine beings that serve Buddha and exist in different Buddhist traditions.

According to beliefs, Tennyo are pure, beautiful and benevolent beings. They are considered guardians of the law and spiritual principles. They are often depicted in elegant clothes and wings, symbolizing their heavenly connection.

In Japanese mythology, the Tennyo are also known as “Hotoke no Tenshi” or “Angels of the Buddha”. They are believed to descend to Earth to guide and protect people on their spiritual path.
